About Culinary Equipment Group

Culinary Equipment Group was formed in 2011 as a merger of two long-time Chicago foodservice equipment rep groups, Elite Marketing and Tech Rep. The company is located in Wood Dale, Illinois, near Chicago's O'Hare Airport and the major expressways.

Our facility includes a fully functioning test kitchen, warehouse space and offices.

Culinary Equipment Group covers Northern Illinois MAFSI Region 17, including the Champaign and Springfield areas, and Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties in Indiana.

Our People

• Ed Sutryk, CFSP (ed@culinaryequipmentgroup.com) - Ed started his foodservice equipment career in 1991 with InterMetro. Prior to that, he was a territory manager for a Chicago food distributor. Ed works with consultants, dealers and end-users. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and is a Certified Foodservice Professional.
• James Carr, CFSP (james@culinaryequipmentgroup.com) - James has been a foodservice equipment rep in Chicago since 2000 and focuses on consultants, dealers and end-users. He previously held positions in marketing for an equipment manufacturer. James is past-president of MAFSI Region 17 and a Certified Foodservice Professional.
• Sam Franklin (sam@culinaryequipmentgroup.com) - Sam has been a foodservice equipment rep in Chicago for over 20 years and handles dealer and end-user business. His previous experience was on the manufacturing side, serving both foodservice and retail grocery customers.
• Christina Raab (christina@culinaryequipmentgroup.com) - Christina has been in the foodservice industry since 2005. She has worked in the contract departments of two major foodservice dealerships and has been an equipment rep since 2008. Christina concentrates on schools, healthcare, and other end-user segments.
• Janice Dziuban (janice@culinaryequipmentgroup.com) - Janice is the Customer Service Manager for Culinary Equipment Group.  Her responsiblities include quotations, order tracking and handling the communications between our customers and the factories.  She has been involved in the foodservice industry since 1996.
